2013: A brand new Year!

Greetings all from Cold, frosty China!
It's been awhile since I've posted and I'm sorry about that...I gotta admit I've been overrun by events lately..between travel for work and really busy work here in Shenyang, I just didn't have the energy..so it's a new year and I'm going to update!
Wow, so much has taken place, but yet, nothing I feel might be interesting to people.  It's hard to judge what is strange and what is normal after we've been here for almost 3 years...yes, it will be 3 years in a few months...wow, hard to believe!
Looking at the blog, I saw that my last post was Korea, so I'll take up after that.
As some of you may know, I've (Sarah) signed up to run a full marathon on the Great Wall of China on 1 May 2013, so I've started my trainup...Here are a few pictures of the training here in Shenyang...

These was taken before it got too cold...it's getting more difficult to find a place that doesn't have ice and snow on it now...so it's treadmill hills for right now.  More on the marathon when it gets here!

From running to food...and not just any food...chicken heads! I just couldn't resist taking a picture..couldn't stomach eating the heads, but thought it was interesting!  This is "not normal" for me yet...yet!

From food to weather...it's cold here and as usual, once it snows in December, it stays on until March...here is a picture I took one morning on the way to work...always an adventure on the roads of Shenyang

From the cold outside to the warm inside...we had our Chinese family over for tea one night in our apartment.

Tea anyone?  He's not quite "Carson" on Downton Abby...but close!

Since I didn't write a Christmas letter, or send Christmas cards (a big letdown for me...I always have done that!) this year, I would like to start out 2013 by wishing everyone a safe, healthy, and prosperous New year in 2013!  It will be a big year for us here..if all goes according to plan, we should startup the plant I've been building since I got here...lots to do, but, what's new!?

Have a great 2013!!
